We, the Youth, have had a slight drop in sales of rose coloured specs as of late. We grew up mostly across a span of years in which the prospect of Nuclear War was but a distant sticky-sweet folk song or dystopian sci-fi plot accelerator. Our parents drove us to clean beaches on cheap fuel, our schooling was instilled as a right rather than a privilege, and we had access to enough white bread that one might think that Woolies was prepping for the next economic collapse all along.
Attempting to find our context within the parameters of potential Western Implosion and these fleeting years before the 9 to 5 kicks in and grinds us down, presents a host of internal conflict.
And what happens when Trump threatens 'fire and fury' and begs a bomb upon a breeze? Well, for as much as we can tell by what Saint Del Rey has advised: we just keep on dancing.
